Join us for an engaging and collaborative afternoon exploring the evolving role of AI in legal practice. This event will feature three breakout discussion groups: each focused on a unique set of questions. Participants will choose their group based on discussion topics and should specify their preference in the comments field when they RSVP.

Event Format

  • Breakout Discussions: Attendees will RSVP for one of three groups (Group A, B, or C), each focused on a distinct set of questions.
  • Share Insights: After breakout sessions, all attendees will reconvene to share insights and key takeaways.
  • Networking: The event concludes with time for informal networking and continued conversation.

Breakout Group Focus Questions

Group A – Host – Emily Fedeles – Senior Vice President, Advisory Services – Purpose Legal

  1. How do you communicate the benefits and value of AI tools to in-house and outside stakeholders?
  2. How do you ensure you’re using AI tools appropriately?
  3. How do you educate teams across the organization about AI tools and appropriate use cases?

Group B – Host – Andrea Webster – Associate Director, Legal Innovation & Operations – Novartis

  1. How do you consider an AI tool’s strategic alignment with goals like efficiency, cost reduction, and risk management?
  2. What kind of governance promotes the responsible use of AI tools?
  3. How do you assess AI tools for ethics and bias?

Group C – Host – Lilith Bat-Leah, Senior Director, AI Labs – EPIQ

  1. How do you balance the risks associated with AI tools and communicate them to stakeholders?
  2. How do you cooperate with opposing counsel to negotiate reasonable use of AI tools?
  3. How do you define and calculate ROI for AI investments?
